Most themes include a business hours section:

  2. Select each day of the week
  3. Enter your opening and closing times
  4. For closed days, select "Closed" or leave the time fields empty

  3. Crop the image if needed

For detailed logo setup instructions, see how to add your logo and branding.

  1. Look for "Social Media" or "Social Links" in the customizer
  2. Add the full URL of your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or LinkedIn pages
  3. Most themes will automatically display social media icons with these links
  4. Save your changes

Adding Company Registration Details

For Irish businesses, you may need to display certain legal information:

  1. Go to "Appearance" > "Widgets" in your WordPress admin
  2. Add a "Text" widget to your footer area
  3. Include your company registration number, registered address, and any other required details
  4. Save the widget

This ensures your website complies with Irish business display requirements.

FAQ

Q: Where does my business information appear on the website?

A: Your business information typically appears in the website header, footer, contact page, and sometimes in the sidebar. The exact location depends on your theme design.

Q: Can I add my business information in Irish (Gaeilge)?

A: Yes, WordPress supports Irish language text. Simply type your business information in Irish in the appropriate fields. For full Irish language websites, see building multi-language websites.

Q: Do I need to include my VAT number on my website?

A: Irish VAT-registered businesses should display their VAT number on invoices, but it's not legally required on websites. However, including it can build customer trust.

Q: How do I change my business information later?

A: Go back to Appearance > Customize > Site Identity or Business Information. Make your changes and click Publish to update your website.

Q: My business hours aren't showing up on my website

A: Check that your theme supports business hours display. If not, you can manually add hours to your contact page or footer using a text widget.

Q: Can I add multiple business locations?

A: Most themes support one main location in the customizer. For multiple locations, you'll need to create separate pages for each location or use a custom solution.

Q: What size should my business logo be?

A: Upload your logo at least 300 pixels wide. WordPress will resize it automatically, but starting with a high-quality image gives better results.
