Effective date: 1 February 2026. Last updated: 24 February 2026.
We want you to be happy with Web60. This policy explains when and how you can request a refund.
1. EU Cooling-Off Period
Under EU law, you have 14 days to withdraw from a digital services purchase. However, once the service commences with your express consent, this right may be waived. When you create a Web60 site, provisioning begins immediately.
Full cancellation terms are set out in our Terms of Service.
2. Web60 Refund Policy
- Within 14 days, site not published: Full pro-rata refund.
- Within 14 days, site published: No refund — the service has been substantially delivered.
- After 14 days: No refund. Cancel anytime to prevent future charges.
3. Cancellation vs Refund
Cancellation stops future billing. Your site stays active until the end of your paid period. Refund returns money already paid, subject to the conditions above. Cancelling does not automatically trigger a refund.
4. Domain Registration Fees
Domain registration fees are non-refundable. Registrations are processed with third-party registrars and cannot be reversed. See Section 5 of our Terms of Service for complete domain registration terms.
5. Free Demo Sites
No payment is made for demo sites, so no refund applies. Demos are deleted after 24 hours if not converted.
6. Web60 Academy
Web60 Academy tokens are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. The following refund terms apply to all Academy token purchases.
Non-refundable
- Cancellations: Tokens that are not used before expiry are not eligible for a refund. Purchased tokens cannot be cancelled for a refund once the purchase is complete.
- No-shows: If you fail to attend a booked session without giving notice, no refund or replacement token will be issued.
- After Zoom invite sent: Once the Zoom meeting invite has been sent for your booked session, the booking is locked and can no longer be changed, rescheduled, or refunded.
Discretionary refunds
In certain circumstances, Web60 may issue a refund or replacement token at its sole discretion. Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Session cancelled by Web60: If we cancel a scheduled session, you will receive a full refund or replacement token for that session.
- Technical issues: If a session could not take place or was significantly disrupted due to technical problems on our end, a refund or replacement token may be offered.
- Duplicate purchase: If you accidentally purchased tokens twice, contact us promptly and we will review your case.
- Exceptional circumstances: Situations such as serious illness or bereavement that prevent you from using your tokens within the validity period.
To request a discretionary refund, email hello@web60.ie with your purchase details and the reason for your request.
