Do I get SFTP and SSH access?
Yes. Every Web60 site includes SFTP for direct file management and SSH for WP-CLI commands from your terminal. Credentials are available from your portal from day one.
What PHP version will my site run on?
PHP 8.3 by default. If your site requires a specific version for plugin compatibility, contact support and we’ll match it during migration.
Can I install a custom theme or use a page builder?
Yes. Web60 runs full WordPress - Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, any page builder, any custom theme. Upload via WordPress admin or via SFTP.
Can I give my developer direct access?
Yes. SFTP credentials can be issued from your portal. WordPress admin access is via one-click SSO or standard login. No restrictions.

Will my site go down during migration?
No. We build a complete copy of your site on Web60 infrastructure. Your original site stays live throughout. DNS is only updated when you approve the preview.
How long does a migration take?
Most migrations complete in under 30 minutes. Larger sites with multi-GB media libraries may take up to a few hours. Live progress updates keep you informed throughout.
Do you migrate WooCommerce stores?
Yes. WooCommerce migrations include all products, orders, customer accounts, and settings.
Is migration really free?
Yes. Site migration is included in your €60/year Web60 plan at no extra charge. There are no setup fees.
Will my domain transfer too?
Your domain stays wherever it is registered. We update your DNS records to point to Web60. You do not need to transfer your domain registrar.
What if something goes wrong?
If the migration fails at any point, your Web60 site is automatically rolled back to its pre-migration state. Your original site is never touched and continues running normally.
Can I migrate multiple sites?
Each Web60 plan covers one site. For multiple sites, you need one plan per site. Contact us at hello@web60.ie for volume pricing.
What if my current host blocks the migration plugin?
This is rare but does happen with some budget hosts. Our support team can assist with alternative methods including manual export/import. Contact us before you sign up and we’ll assess your situation.
