Creating Testimonial Sections

This article explains how to add testimonial sections to your WordPress website to showcase customer feedback and reviews.

Step 1: Access Your WordPress Dashboard

Step 2: Choose Where to Add Testimonials

You can add testimonials to any existing page or create a dedicated testimonials page. Most businesses add them to:

  • Homepage
  • About page
  • Services page

To create a testimonials section with several reviews:

  1. Add a Heading block above your first testimonial (type "What Our Customers Say" or similar)
  2. Click the + button after your first testimonial
  3. Add another Testimonial block
  4. Repeat this process for each testimonial you want to display

Step 6: Style Your Testimonials

You can change how testimonials look:

  1. Select a testimonial block
  2. Look for styling options in the right sidebar
  3. Change text alignment, colours, or spacing
  4. Some themes offer different testimonial styles in the block settings

Step 7: Save Your Changes

Click Update (for existing pages) or Publish (for new pages) to save your testimonials section.

Alternative: Using Columns for Side-by-Side Testimonials

For a more professional layout:

  1. Add a Columns block instead of individual testimonial blocks
  2. Choose a 2-column or 3-column layout
  3. Add one testimonial block inside each column
  4. This displays multiple testimonials side by side
