Hosting and infrastructure
Your website runs on managed WordPress hosting on servers located in Ireland. Web60 handles all server maintenance, WordPress core updates, and platform-managed plugin updates. You do not need to manage any technical infrastructure.
Each plan includes one website.
Domain name
One .ie or .com domain name is included with your plan. Web60 registers the domain on your behalf and manages renewal. If you already own a domain, you can transfer it to Web60 or point it at your Web60 site.
AI website builder
Web60 includes an AI website builder that helps you create pages and content for your site. You can use it to generate layouts, text, and images as a starting point, then customise everything through the WordPress editor.
Backups
Automated daily backups run every day with 30-day retention. You can also create manual backups at any time through the portal. If something goes wrong, you can restore your site to any backup within the last 30 days.
SSL certificate
Every Web60 site gets a free SSL certificate that is set up and renewed automatically. This encrypts traffic between your visitors and your website, and shows the padlock icon in their browser.
DNS management
You manage your DNS records through the Web60 portal. This includes A records, CNAME records, MX records, SPF, and DMARC. Web60 will configure MX, SPF, and DMARC records for you if you use a third-party email provider such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
Website analytics
Privacy-focused website analytics are built into the portal. You can see visitor numbers, page views, devices, and geographic data without installing any third-party tracking scripts.
Developer and management tools
- SFTP access for direct file access to your WordPress installation
- File Manager in the portal for browsing and editing files in your browser
- WP-CLI terminal for running WordPress commands from the portal
- Staging site for testing changes before pushing them to your live site
- AI support chat for getting help with your site directly in the portal
- Logo generator for creating a logo for your business
What is not included
Email hosting is not included. Web60 is a website hosting platform, not an email provider. If you need business email, Web60 will set up the DNS records required for Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or any other email service you choose.
