Web60 hosts your website, not your email. This is a deliberate choice, and it is actually better for you. Here is why, and how to set up business email for your domain.
Why Web60 does not include email
Many traditional hosting providers bundle email with website hosting, but the email service is often unreliable, has poor spam filtering, and lacks modern features. By keeping website hosting and email separate, you get:
- Better reliability — dedicated email providers have infrastructure built specifically for email
- Better spam filtering — services like Google and Microsoft invest heavily in keeping spam out of your inbox
- Better features — calendar, contacts, video calls, file storage, and more
- Better security — two-factor authentication, advanced threat protection, and encryption
In short, separating your email from your website hosting gives you a much better experience.

How to set up email with your domain
Once you have chosen an email provider and signed up, you will need to add MX records to your domain's DNS settings. MX records tell the internet where to deliver email for your domain.
If your domain uses Web60's nameservers, you can add MX records from the Domain tab in your Web60 dashboard. See our step-by-step MX records guide for full instructions.
If your domain is managed through a registrar like Blacknight, GoDaddy, or 123 Reg, you will add the MX records in your registrar's DNS settings instead.
What about my existing email?
If you are moving your website to Web60 and already have email set up with another provider, your email will not be affected. Web60 only handles your website. As long as your MX records stay pointing to your email provider, everything will continue to work as before.
