Academy is made up of three sessions. Each one is designed to stand on its own, but they work best when taken in order.
Part 1 — Build Your Website
This session is for anyone getting started with Web60. It covers:
- Portal tour. A walkthrough of your Web60 dashboard — where everything lives and how to navigate it.
- AI wizard demo. How the AI site builder works and what it produces. You will see a site built from scratch in real time.
- Editing your site. How to change text, images, colours, and layout using the WordPress block editor.
- Connecting your domain. How to point your own domain name (like yourbusiness.ie) to your Web60 site.
- Going live checklist. The steps to take before making your site visible to the world.
By the end of this session, you will know how to build and launch a website on Web60.
Part 2 — Manage and Maintain Your Site
This session is for anyone who has a live site and wants to keep it running smoothly. It covers:
- Backups and restores. How Web60 backs up your site daily and how to restore from a backup if something goes wrong.
- Content changes. How to add new pages, update existing content, and manage your site's menu.
- Plugin management. What plugins are, how to install them, and how Web60 handles updates.
- Analytics basics. How to see who is visiting your site, where they are coming from, and what they are looking at.
- Security settings. The security features built into Web60 and how to configure them.
By the end of this session, you will be confident managing your site day to day.
Part 3 — Grow Your Business Online
This session is for anyone who wants to do more with their website. It covers:
- Adding a shop (WooCommerce). How to set up an online store, add products, and take payments.
- Staging environments. How to test changes safely on a copy of your live site before publishing.
- SEO and Google. How to help your site appear in search results and what you can do to improve your ranking.
- Email for your domain. How to set up a professional email address (like info@yourbusiness.ie) using your domain.
- What is coming next. A preview of upcoming Web60 features and how they will help your business.
By the end of this session, you will have a plan for growing your online presence.
Which session should I start with?
If you are new to Web60 or websites in general, start with Part 1. If you already have a live site, Part 2 or Part 3 might be more useful. You can attend any session without having attended the others.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to take the sessions in order?
It is recommended but not required. Each session is self-contained, so you can attend whichever topics are most relevant to you.
Are the sessions suitable for beginners?
Yes. Part 1 starts from the very beginning and assumes no prior experience. Parts 2 and 3 build on that foundation but are still accessible on their own.
