How to change colours on your website

Building Your Website2 min read·

The colours on your website were chosen by the Web60 AI Site Builder based on your preferences during setup. You can change them at any time.

Changing your site-wide colour palette

  1. In the WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance → Editor.
  2. Click Styles (the half-circle icon in the top right).
  3. Click Colors.
  4. You will see your current colour palette. Click any colour to change it.
  5. Enter a hex code or use the colour picker to choose a new colour.
  6. Click Save to apply the change across your entire site.

Changing colours on individual blocks

If you only want to change the colour of a specific heading, paragraph, or section:

  1. Open the page in the WordPress editor.
  2. Click on the block you want to change.
  3. In the right sidebar, look for Color settings under the Block tab.
  4. Change the Text or Background colour for that block.
  5. Click Update to save.

Tips

  • Stick to 2-3 main colours for a clean, professional look.
  • Make sure text is easy to read against its background — dark text on light backgrounds, or white text on dark backgrounds.
  • If you chose colours during the AI Site Builder setup (Step 3), those are your starting palette. You can always refine them here.
