Downloading Your Logo Files

Building Your Website2 min read·

Every logo variant you generate can be downloaded to your computer for use in documents, social media, print materials, or anywhere else you need your logo.

How to download

  1. Generate a logo or open one from your Logo History
  2. Click the Download button on the variant you want
  3. The file saves to your computer's downloads folder

The filename follows the pattern logo-[session]-[variant].png (or .svg).

File formats

PNG

Available to all plans. PNG is a raster image format that supports transparency — your logo will have a clear background that works on any colour.

Best for: Social media profiles, email signatures, documents, presentations, and general web use.

SVG

Available on Starter and Pro plans for variants 3 and 4 (the Recraft-generated variants). SVG is a vector format that stays perfectly sharp at any size.

Best for: Print materials, large-format displays, business cards, and anywhere you need the logo at different sizes without losing quality.

Tips

  • Download both formats if they are available — you will have the right file for any situation
  • PNG files are typically 1024x1024 pixels, which is high enough resolution for most uses
  • SVG files are infinitely scalable — you can make them as large as you want without any loss of quality
  • If you need a specific size, any image editor can resize PNG files. SVG files can be resized in any vector editor (Inkscape, Illustrator, Figma) or directly in CSS
