Reverting (Removing) an Applied Logo

Building Your Website2 min read·

Changed your mind about a logo? The revert feature removes the applied logo from your website and restores everything to exactly how it was before.

How to revert

  1. Go to the Logo page in your Web60 portal
  2. The currently applied logo is marked with an Active badge
  3. Click Revert (or Remove from Site)
  4. Confirm the action in the dialog

Your website returns to its previous state within seconds.

What reverting does

When you revert a logo, the system:

  1. Restores your previous logo — if you had a different logo before, it comes back. If you had no logo, the logo is removed entirely
  2. Restores the favicon to whatever it was before
  3. Restores your site title visibility — if you chose to hide the title when applying, it becomes visible again
  4. Removes logo sizing from your header template
  5. Clears caches so the change takes effect immediately

Your site is restored to the exact state it was in before the logo was applied.

After reverting

The reverted logo session is marked as Reverted in your Logo History. You can still:

  • Download the logo files (PNG and SVG)
  • Re-apply the same logo again
  • Use it as a starting point for refinement

Reverting does not count against your monthly generation limit.

Frequently asked questions

Will reverting delete my logo files?

No. Your generated logos remain in your Logo History and can be downloaded or re-applied at any time. Reverting only removes the logo from your live website.

Can I revert if I've applied multiple logos?

Yes. Reverting always undoes the most recent application, restoring whatever was in place before — whether that was a previous logo or no logo at all.

Does reverting restore my site title?

Yes. If you hid the site title when applying the logo, reverting brings it back.
