The Logo Generator asks you to make three choices that shape the output: style, industry, and logo type. Getting these right gives you much better results on the first try.
Logo styles
There are six styles to choose from. Each one tells the AI what visual direction to take.
Minimalist
Clean geometric shapes, maximum white space, single accent colour, thin stroke weights, and modern sans-serif typography. Best for technology companies, consultancies, and brands that want a clean, contemporary look.
Bold and Strong
Heavy geometric marks, thick strokes, high contrast, strong typography. Assertive and confident. Best for construction, fitness, manufacturing, and brands that want to project strength.
Friendly
Rounded shapes, warm colour palette, approachable sans-serif, slightly playful, soft edges. Best for childcare, food, community organisations, and brands that want to feel welcoming.
Tech and Modern
Angular geometry, monochromatic or two-tone palette, precise lines, futuristic sans-serif. Best for software companies, IT services, and brands with a technical focus.
Luxury
Refined mark, generous white space, restrained palette, elegant serif or thin sans-serif. Best for premium services, boutiques, salons, and brands that want to convey quality.
Traditional
Established feel, badge or crest influence, classic typography, muted trustworthy colours. Best for legal firms, accountants, heritage brands, and businesses with a long history.
Industries
The industry you select helps the AI understand the context of your business and choose appropriate iconography. There are 21 industry categories:
- Food and Hospitality
- Construction and Trades
- Healthcare and Wellness
- Legal and Professional
- Retail
- Technology
- Education and Training
- Beauty and Personal Care
- Automotive
- Agriculture and Farming
- Finance and Insurance
- Creative and Media
- Transport and Logistics
- Property and Real Estate
- Manufacturing
- Charity and Non-profit
- Events and Entertainment
- Cleaning and Facilities
- Pet and Animal Services
- Sports and Recreation
- Other
If your business spans multiple categories, choose the one that best represents how customers see you. You can add extra context in the Description field to guide the AI further.
Logo types
You can choose from three logo compositions:
Icon and name (default)
A symbol or icon alongside your business name. This is the most common and versatile logo format — it works well in headers, favicons, and social media.
Icon only
Just a symbol or icon with no text. Useful if your business name is long or if you want a clean mark that works at small sizes. You can always add text separately on your website.
Name only
Your business name styled as a wordmark with no icon. Best if your business name itself is distinctive and you want typography to do the work.
Optional inputs
Tagline
A short phrase that appears below your business name in the logo (e.g. "Quality You Can Trust"). Keep it short — long taglines become unreadable at small sizes.
Colour
Enter a hex colour code (e.g. #379682) to set the primary accent colour. If you leave this blank, the AI picks a palette that suits your industry and style. If you already have brand colours, enter your primary colour here.
Description
A short description of your business (up to 200 characters). This gives the AI extra context. For example: "Family-run bakery in Cork specialising in sourdough and artisan pastries."
Frequently asked questions
Can I change the style after generating?
You can generate again with a different style, or refine an existing logo with instructions like 'make it more minimalist'. Each attempt counts as one session.
What if my industry is not listed?
Select 'Other' from the industry dropdown. The AI will rely on your business name, description, and style choice to design an appropriate logo.
Does the colour option override the style?
Your colour preference is used as the primary accent colour. The AI builds the rest of the palette around it in a way that fits your chosen style.
