Web60 makes paying for your hosting straightforward and secure. Here is everything you need to know about how payments work and how your card details are protected.
Accepted payment methods
Web60 accepts the following card types:
- Visa (credit and debit)
- Mastercard (credit and debit)
These are the only payment methods available at this time. We do not currently accept PayPal, bank transfers, or American Express.
How your card details are protected
Web60 does not store your card number, expiry date, or CVV. We never see these details at any point during the payment process.
All card information is held securely by our payment processors:
- Stripe — a globally trusted payment platform used by millions of businesses
- AIB Merchant Services — one of Ireland's leading payment processors
Both processors are fully PCI DSS compliant, meaning they meet the highest international standards for handling card data. Your payment details are encrypted in transit and at rest, and are never accessible to Web60 staff.
When you enter your card details during checkout or when updating your payment method, those details go directly to the payment processor — they never pass through or are stored on Web60 servers.
How to update your payment card
If your card has expired, been replaced, or you simply want to use a different card:
- Sign in to your Web60 dashboard.
- Click "Billing" in the left-hand sidebar.
- Click "Update Payment Method".
- Enter your new card details and save.
Your new card will be used for all future payments, including your next annual renewal.
What happens if a payment fails
If your card is declined or a payment does not go through:
- Your invoice will show as Unpaid in your billing history.
- We will email you to let you know.
- You can update your card and retry the payment from the Billing page.
- If the payment remains unpaid, your site may be suspended until the balance is cleared.
Refunds
If you are entitled to a refund, it will be returned to the original card used for payment. Refunds are processed by our payment provider and typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days.
