Understanding Your Web60 Bill

Billing & Account4 min read·

This article explains how to read your Web60 bill and understand what appears on your invoice.

Finding Your Bill

Web60 sends your bill to the email address you used when signing up. Check your inbox and spam folder for emails from Web60 with "Invoice" in the subject line.

You can also view your bills by logging into your Web60 account dashboard at any time.

Understanding Your Invoice

Your Web60 invoice contains several key pieces of information:

Invoice Number: A unique reference number for this bill. Keep this handy if you need to contact support about payment issues.

Service Period: Shows the dates your hosting service covers. Web60 bills annually, so this will show a full year period.

Amount Due: The total you need to pay for your hosting service.

Due Date: When payment must be received. Your website will continue working after this date, but may be suspended if payment is significantly overdue.

Payment Method: Shows how Web60 will collect payment (usually your saved card details).

When You're Billed

Web60 bills you once per year on your renewal date. This date is exactly one year from when you first signed up or last renewed.

You'll receive your invoice 30 days before your renewal date. This gives you time to update payment details if needed.

Automatic Payments

If you provided card details during signup, Web60 will automatically charge your card on the due date. You'll receive a receipt by email once payment is processed.

To update your payment method, log into your account dashboard and go to the billing section.

Failed Payments

If your card payment fails, Web60 will email you immediately. Common reasons include:

  • Expired card
  • Insufficient funds
  • Card blocked by your bank
  • Changed card details

You can manually pay your invoice through your account dashboard using a different card or updated details.

Viewing Payment History

Your account dashboard shows all previous invoices and payments. This is useful for:

  • Checking when you last paid
  • Downloading invoices for your records
  • Seeing your next renewal date
  • Confirming payments went through

Domain Registration Charges

If you registered a domain through Web60, this appears as a separate line item on your invoice. Domain renewals happen annually and may have different renewal dates than your hosting.

If you're still stuck, contact Web60 support with your invoice number and we'll help sort out any billing questions.

FAQ

Q: Why haven't I received my invoice?

A: Check your spam folder first. If it's not there, log into your Web60 account dashboard to view your invoice. Your email address may need updating.

Q: Can I pay monthly instead of annually?

A: No, Web60 only offers annual billing. This keeps costs low and ensures your website stays online without monthly payment interruptions.

Q: What happens if I don't pay on time?

A: Your website will continue working for a short grace period. If payment becomes significantly overdue, your site may be temporarily suspended until payment is received.

Q: Can I get a refund if I cancel?

A: Web60 doesn't offer refunds for unused portions of your annual service. Your website will continue working until your current billing period ends.

Q: How do I update my billing address?

A: Log into your Web60 account dashboard and go to the billing section. You can update your address details there.

Q: Why was I charged twice?

A: This sometimes happens if you have both hosting and domain services with different renewal dates. Check your invoice breakdown to see what each charge covers.

Q: Can I download my invoices for tax purposes?

A: Yes, all invoices can be downloaded as PDF files from your account dashboard in the billing section.
