All text on your website — headings, paragraphs, button labels — can be edited directly in the WordPress block editor.
How to edit text
- Open your WordPress editor from the My Website page in your Web60 dashboard.
- Navigate to the page you want to edit from Pages in the left sidebar.
- Click on any text block. A cursor appears and you can type directly.
- Make your changes — delete, retype, or add new content.
- Click Update (or Publish for new pages) in the top right to save.
Formatting options
When you click on a text block, a toolbar appears above it. You can:
- Bold or Italic — select text and click B or I
- Add a link — select text and click the link icon, then paste a URL
- Change alignment — left, centre, or right
- Change heading level — click the heading block and choose H2, H3, etc.
Adding new text blocks
To add a new paragraph or heading:
- Hover between two blocks until you see a blue + button.
- Click it and choose Paragraph or Heading.
- Start typing.
Tips
- Keep headings short and descriptive — they help visitors and search engines understand your page.
- Use paragraphs to break up long sections of text. Shorter paragraphs are easier to read on mobile.
- You can undo any change with Ctrl+Z (or Cmd+Z on Mac).
