If you applied a logo but it does not appear on your website, work through these steps to identify and fix the issue.
Step 1: Check your browser cache
The most common reason a logo does not appear immediately is browser caching. Your browser may be showing a saved version of your page from before the logo was applied.
Try these in order:
- Hard refresh your website: press
Ctrl + Shift + R(Windows/Linux) orCmd + Shift + R(Mac) - Open your site in a private/incognito window — this bypasses the cache entirely
- Clear your browser cache through your browser settings
If the logo appears in the incognito window, the issue is just your browser cache and it will resolve on its own shortly.
Step 2: Flush your site cache
Your Web60 website uses server-side caching to speed up page loading. After applying a logo, the system flushes this cache automatically, but occasionally it needs a manual nudge.
- Go to your site in the Web60 portal
- Click My Website
- Click Flush Cache
Wait a few seconds, then reload your website.
Step 3: Verify the logo was applied
Go back to the Logo page in your portal. Check that the logo you applied has an Active badge. If it does not show as active, the application may not have completed successfully — try applying it again.
Step 4: Check your theme
The Logo Generator requires the Extendable theme. If your site's theme was changed after applying the logo, the logo may not display correctly.
Check that your site is still using the Extendable theme. See Theme Compatibility for details.
Step 5: Try revert and re-apply
If the above steps do not resolve the issue:
- Revert the current logo
- Wait a few seconds
- Apply the logo again
- Check your site in an incognito window
Still not working?
If you have tried all the steps above and your logo still does not appear, contact support. Include:
- Your site name
- Which logo session you applied
- A screenshot of what you see on your website
- Whether you tried the incognito window test
Frequently asked questions
I applied the logo but my site still shows the old one.
This is almost always a caching issue. Try clearing your browser cache, opening your site in a private/incognito window, or flushing the site cache from your Web60 portal.
The logo shows on desktop but not on mobile.
Try clearing your mobile browser cache or opening the site in a different browser on your phone. Mobile browsers can cache aggressively.
The logo is there but it's the wrong size.
The Logo Generator sets your logo to 180px wide, which is the standard for the Extendable theme header. If it appears a different size, try reverting and re-applying the logo.
