Billing & Account4 min read·

This article shows you how to set up recurring payments so your Web60 subscription renews automatically each year.

Setting Up Automatic Payments

1. Access Your Web60 Portal

Log into your Web60 account at your portal dashboard. If you need help finding this, check Understanding Your Web60 Portal.

Click on "Billing" in the main menu.

2. Navigate to Payment Settings

In the Billing section, look for "Payment Methods" or "Auto-Renewal Settings". This might be in a sidebar menu or as a tab at the top of the page.

Click on "Payment Methods" to see your current payment options.

3. Add or Update Your Payment Method

If you don't have a payment method saved:

  • Click "Add Payment Method"
  • Choose between credit card or debit card
  • Enter your card details: number, expiry date, and security code
  • Add your billing address (this must match your card's registered address)
  • Click "Save Payment Method"

If you already have a payment method but want to change it, click "Update" next to your existing card and enter the new details.

4. Enable Auto-Renewal

Look for a section called "Subscription Settings" or "Auto-Renewal".

You'll see a toggle switch or checkbox next to "Auto-Renewal" or "Automatic Payments". Click this to turn it on.

The system will show you:

  • Your next renewal date
  • The amount that will be charged
  • Which payment method will be used

Click "Save Settings" or "Confirm" to activate auto-renewal.

5. Set Up Payment Notifications

To avoid surprises, set up billing alerts. In the same Billing section, look for "Notifications" or "Alerts".

Tick the boxes for:

  • Payment successful notifications
  • Payment failed notifications
  • Renewal reminder emails (usually sent 7 days before renewal)

For more detailed help with this step, see How to Set Up Billing Alerts.

6. Test Your Setup

Your recurring payment is now active. You should see "Auto-Renewal: Enabled" in your account overview.

Check that your renewal date shows correctly and matches when you expect to be charged.

What Happens Next

Web60 will automatically charge your saved payment method before your subscription expires. You'll get an email confirmation when the payment goes through.

If a payment fails, Web60 will try again after a few days and send you an email so you can update your payment details.

You can turn off auto-renewal at any time by following the same steps and toggling the switch off. For help with managing your renewal settings, see Managing Subscription Auto-Renewal.

If you're still stuck with setting up recurring payments, contact Web60 support through your portal dashboard or email support.
